About

Bombshell Transformations is a beauty and wellness collective dedicated to serving the Trans community and their friends, families and allies. We are located in N Portland, off Ivanhoe, near the St. Johns Bridge.

At Bombshell Transformations, we believe that everyone deserves to feel beautiful inside and out! We celebrate euphoria by offering high quality hair services, wig work, healing massage, aesthetics and electrolysis, permanent makeup, hair and makeup lessons, and image consulting services.

Need support on your gender journey? Our newly formed non profit, the T house, was founded to help pay for services for trans identified individuals needing extra financial help due to job loss, income restrictions, unemployment and underemployment. Meet the Bombshell team *

  • She/Her is the founder of Bombshell Transformations.

    She identifies as a queer femme, and is married to the co-founder, Stacy Sheffler, a non-binary therapist specializing in Trans affirming care.

    Bettie is a mom of a trans daughter, a pansexual son, and a queer daughter. Bettie has over 20 years in the beauty industry, as a stylist and educator. She works behind the chair as a master stylist and offers one on one image consulting services, including hair lessons, makeup lessons and personal styling/wardrobe curation.

    Bettie works her magic on all identities, but really enjoys working with her trans femmes, teaching them how to do everyday makeup, taking the guesswork out of styling their hair at home, and helping them find their own unique, authentic look.

    Bettie tailors each style to the person who will be wearing it, and her goal is for you to leave your appointments feeling seen, empowered and euphoric. In her free time, Bettie loves to travel, and spend time with her family and friends, entertaining in her home, or back yard that she lovingly designed with the help of her incredible partner.

  • He/Him is the manager of Bombshell Transformations and has been loving on hair for over 22 years.

    He identifies as a gay/queer man, who enjoys music and dancing and is an avid rollerskater!

    David has been called a renaissance man, artistic and analytical by nature, he uses his many skills to thoughtfully create the perfect hair for each of his clients.

    A leo with a cancer moon and gemini rising, and 5 planet Virgo stellium, David is a balance of Fire, Water, Earth and Air. This translates into his life and his craft, as he supports his clients by listening and encouraging, as he caters to their needs and requests while creating a look that they love.

    The absolute biggest joy for David is when his clients can’t stop smiling after they look in the mirror and see his work. David’s specialties include:
    - precision cutting
    - proper razor techniques
    - blonding
    - highlighting
    - balayage.

    He is always learning new techniques, and he continues to be inspired by the ever-evolving world of hair.

  • They/Them Wrenn Koer is a queer licensed cosmetologist with a passion for alternative styles and gender affirming services. As an AuDhd person, they strive to create an environment that is sensory friendly and trauma informed. They have an autistic child, and love working with neurodivergent kids! Wrenn goes out of their way to make sure every client feels heard by offering a compassionate, thorough and collaborative consultation. Through attention to detail and creative artistry, they deliver unique curated styles for each individual. Wrenn offers esthetics services including face and body waxing, and also works behind the chair, specializing in razor cutting and alternative styles, short cuts and braiding. When they’re not in the salon, they love spending time with their partner, their kid and their many animals(including chickens!) They love music and crafting and spending time in nature.

  • She/Her Juniper is an Aveda graduate with a passion for all things hair and makeup. She grew up in Eugene, Oregon and moved to Portland to pursue each facet of cosmetology. She is trained in hair design, esthetics, and cosmetic application. She loves working with clients to help them express themselves and specializes in alternative, curly, and transformative styles. Juniper also has experience with kids' cuts and color and is happy to have them in her chair.

    Outside the salon, Juniper loves cooking, spending time with family(including pets!), horror movies and spontaneous adventure.

  • She/Her Mary Bonham is a licensed permanent makeup artist, originally from Northern California. She worked in the service industry for many years but aspired for a career more closely aligning with her passions. In search of new challenges and a creative outlet, she began her journey with Powder Brows at Moonstone Beauty and Cosmetics. After relocating to Oregon, she continued her education at Trillium Ink academy, where she expanded her skills to include advanced techniques, lip blush and lash enhancement. Her goal is to continue learning every day while helping others feel beautiful in the process. In her free time, Mary enjoys hiking in the beautiful pacific northwest, playing softball and traveling.

  • She/Her is a licensed Electrolysis and aesthetitican. She is taking new clients who can pay out of pocket, but is currently working on getting on insurance panels. Sadie has a passion for electrolysis, skin analysis, facial treatments, lash and brow tinting, brow lamination and derma-planing. In her free time, Sadie enjoys spending time with her son, hanging out with friends, seeing live music and singing.

  • He/They Theo whole heartedly believes that our bodies hold the power to heal themselves, with a little guidance in the right direction. An alum of East West College of the Healing Arts, he has always been passionate about the art of somatic healing. Through their work as a first responder and long term homecare, Theo developed a practice centered on intuitive touch and creating a healing environment, specifically for queer bodies. Theo intentionally works to create a safe, comfortable space for his clients so they don’t have to mask. He believes that healing becomes available to the body when we are open and embracing of our authentic selves.

    Receiving a massage from Theo is a truly relaxing experience. They bring myofacial, swedish, neuromuscular and craniosacral techniques to their intentional practice; and tailor their approach to their clients individual body needs. Theo’s intention is to create a mind-body connection through his work, allowing clients release from the shapes our bodies are forced to hold space in, and embracing what feels good.

    When Theo isn’t healing the world, they love to spend time in community, and they balance the weight of their work with a healthy dose of silly!
